Over the last few weeks, I have used a headshot I have had generated by AI as my LinkedIn avatar. I have received several comments, the most pertinent being, ‘Is that you Mike?’. Clearly not.
HUB aims to reduce the environmental impact of how we operate and how we deliver digital services for our clients. As a small digital agency, much of our environmental impact comes through the suppliers we use rather than infrastructure we own ourselves. This includes hosting and cloud providers such as WP Engine, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud. Our approach is to make practical, informed choices and review them regularly.

Where HUB recommends or manages hosting for a client, we will take environmental performance into account alongside the client’s technical and commercial requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain relevant environmental differences between hosting options.
We will review this policy and the environmental commitments of our main hosting suppliers once a year.
