Measuring the effectiveness of parental engagement

Project Information

Client: Parentkind

Type:

Focus: ,

Parent-Friendly Schools is Parentkind’s free self-assessment audit tool for schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, measuring the effectiveness of parental engagement methods within schools.

Working with educationalists from Parentkind, a national charity giving those with a parenting role a voice in education, and with Learning Ladders Education, a current client, HUB developed a formbased tracking system. The platform allows schools to see how they score against the five key drivers to effective parental participation from the BluePrint for Parent-Friendly Schools, and to track how the school improves over time.

The system also signposts resources, recommendations and next steps for the schools, all aimed at creating better outcomes for young people across the UK.

Artificial Headshots

Over the last few weeks, I have used a headshot I have had generated by AI as my LinkedIn avatar. I have received several comments, the most pertinent being, ‘Is that you Mike?’. Clearly not.
